EXPERIENCE!

Are you looking for a family-friendly resort?  Pet friendly? Great for everyone from babies to baby boomers?  Look no further than the Loews Royal Pacific.  I have always stayed and loved the Loews, but this Loews is unique in its family and pet friends policies which are above and beyond!

ROOMS

Upon checking in with two dogs, I was given two doggie treat bags. Included were placemats, metal water bowls, and treats.  My room had two wonderful queen beds so comfy, as well as tons of drawer space, desk, ports for staying online, wonderful bathroom amenities, and I was greeted by a fabulous fresh fruit tray.

GROUNDS

Next…….. WOW  WOW WOW,!  Beautiful foliage exotic transport me to the Pacific.   Birds of paradise, tropical plants, and foliage surround the walkways. The decor is amazing relics of the pacific: statuettes, figurines,  and lovely secluded areas to commune with nature.  Indoors, more gorgeous Pacific Island mood and mode prevail, complimenting the cascading orchids everywhere.

ACTIVITIES

So I completed check-in and my tour of the grounds, tested out the comfy bedroom, and am now ready to try some activities. The pool is huge and has organized volleyball games in it as well as other contests for kids.   Beside the pool is a huge boat with spraying water and fountains and an area where anyone can get wet and run or walk through it. They also have an area of life jackets, so no worries about your non-swimming toddlers.   If the pool is not what you want, there is also ping pong which I personally love, and several, wonderfully stocked cabanas. There, for a nominal fee, you can rest and watch the activities plus watch your own television while you much on all sorts of lite bites or choose from a bevy of beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. There are also chairs and tables where you can sit and much if you don’t have a cabana.   Everywhere of course are the beautiful palm trees.

RESTAURANTS

The last activity of our day is dining. I have already loved my light bites, loads of sparkling water with lemon, my awesome fruit platter but how can I skip a meal in this awesome restaurant aptly named Ocean  Islands dining room. Fabulous Indonesian-inspired food and even children can dine and play in a special area.    The chef comes to my table to tell me what he thinks would be good for us and everything he chose is perfect.

Jakes bar
Later in the evening, we went to Jake’s bar and they had a great selection of premium alcohol for those who partake as well as light bites, sandwiches, and snack food.                                            Orchid Court
There is also an Orchid court lounge and sushi bar. The name says it all.  Seating in the round to see all the lush grounds while partaking of fabulous sushi and more.

Bula
I cannot skip Bula as I love ice cream and right by the pool is this fabulous eatery that the kids love too…Burgers and Bites followed by bars of ice cream in all flavors.

FINALE

So, do I concur with the 4.5-star rating this resort has?  Well, I would say 5 stars as there was not anything negative I can say about it. From the arrival to departure, grounds, service, amenities,  restaurants, parking, room service, pet features….everything perfection without leaving the premises. The proximity to universal studios for those diehard Disney fans is another plus.  So….start planning your trip there soon!
